What is SECRETARY?
SECRETARY is an AI work assistant that performs recurring digital tasks on your Windows computer. Describe the work in your own words in the web dashboard. SECRETARY runs on your schedule, works with your files and connected applications, and reports results through WhatsApp or Telegram.
Do I need technical knowledge to use SECRETARY?
No. Describe the work in everyday language. SECRETARY turns it into a draft with steps, a schedule, and required applications, and nothing runs before you approve it. Installation requires pasting one command into PowerShell as administrator and entering the setup code shown in the dashboard.
Which operating systems are supported?
The Agent supports Windows 10 version 1809 or later and Windows 11. There is no Agent for Mac, Linux, phones, or tablets. The web dashboard can still be opened from a phone, where you can view notifications and approval requests.
What does installation change on my computer?
Installation requires administrator access and makes persistent changes. It removes an earlier SECRETARY installation on the same computer, installs document, PDF, archive, and media tools, adds scheduled background tasks, and excludes the Agent folder from Windows Defender scanning. Signed updates are installed automatically. See the full list in the Terms of Use before installing.
How many computers can I connect?
One Agent can run on each computer. Reinstalling on the same computer replaces the previous installation. An account can connect one computer on Trial and Lite, three on Pro, and ten on Business. Choose where each task runs from the Tasks page.
Does it work while my computer is off?
No. Tasks do not run while the computer is off or offline. When it returns, the most recent missed run for each task runs once, older missed runs are skipped, and one message lists what was missed. An interrupted run resumes from the step where it stopped.
Does it use my screen or mouse while working?
No. SECRETARY runs tasks in the background without controlling your mouse or opening work windows on screen. It uses a separate hidden browser for web tasks. Visible windows appear only during connection steps you start, such as a WhatsApp QR code, permission page, or credential setup window.
Which applications does it support?
Supported applications include Gmail, Outlook, Google Calendar, Google Sheets, Google Drive, Slack, Notion, Trello, HubSpot, QuickBooks, and Stripe. The current list is on Applications in the dashboard. Connections use each provider permission screen and can be revoked. Excel, Word, PDF, archive, and video tools are included with installation and need no separate account.
What can SECRETARY do on websites?
SECRETARY can search public sites, read pages, collect multi-page tables and lists, download files, save pages as PDF, and fill forms. For supported sign-in sites, credentials are saved through a secure window on your computer and used in a hidden browser. Security codes can be entered on Approvals. Secondary password prompts, CAPTCHA, and electronic signatures are not supported. SECRETARY does not download programs or scripts, open local network addresses, or treat page content as instructions. Web actions explicitly requested in the task can run without a separate approval.
What happens when an action requires approval?
You choose which application actions require approval. SECRETARY pauses before protected write actions such as sending, creating, or deleting, notifies your phone, and waits for your decision on Approvals. Rejected actions are not performed. Unprotected application actions, live WhatsApp replies, and explicitly requested web actions continue without waiting. Stop an active task from its card, and review important outputs before use.
How are passwords and sign-in details protected?
Your Google password is not sent to us, and SECRETARY has no separate password. Connected applications use the provider permission screen. Website cookies and saved credentials stay on your computer, where Windows encrypts them. They do not appear in the dashboard. Security code images and codes entered on Approvals remain in memory for up to 10 minutes while being delivered. Values written directly in task text are stored with that task and sent to the AI model. Telegram bot tokens are not written to the database and remain in server memory for up to 30 minutes during delivery.
Where are my files and data stored?
Files are opened on your computer and Agent reports are written there. WhatsApp and Telegram sessions also remain on the computer. Connected application actions and AI calls pass through our server. Application results are cached for 30 minutes for security checks, processed files are removed within one hour, and content sent to AI is not written to the database. Account details, task definitions, run summaries, notification text, and usage records are stored persistently. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Can my WhatsApp number be restricted?
The risk is not zero. The Agent connects through the Linked devices QR flow, not the official WhatsApp business interface. WhatsApp may restrict or close accounts it identifies as automated. The Agent adds a short random delay to replies and ignores group messages, while bulk and unsolicited messaging is prohibited. These measures cannot guarantee that a restriction will not occur. See the Terms of Use.
Which languages are supported?
The Agent can write run summaries and reports in Turkish or English. Choose the language under My Account → Language and Channel.
How does pricing work?
SECRETARY is a monthly subscription. Each plan includes monthly usage equal to the amount paid. AI calls and paid operations deduct provider cost plus a service fee from that allowance. Every deduction appears on Usage. The period starts with your latest payment, and unused allowance does not roll over. See current plans under pricing.
Which actions consume the usage allowance?
AI calls during tasks, reading photos and scanned documents, image generation, and Advanced Web Search consume usage. Connected application actions and notifications may also carry small operation fees. Support chat, task drafting, and standard web search do not consume the allowance.
What happens when my usage allowance runs out?
No overage fee or debt is created. SECRETARY stops accepting new work and temporarily removes scheduled tasks from the computer, while preserving your settings, dashboard, and files. Tasks return automatically in the next period, or access resumes immediately after an upgrade. Alerts are sent before the allowance is exhausted.
How does the free trial work?
New accounts start on the Trial plan with one computer and a limited usage allowance. The account is created on the first Google sign-in, with no card required. Trial allowance cannot be refunded or converted to cash.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Cancel from the payment page linked in your purchase email or contact hi@secretary.sh. Cancellation stops the next renewal, and service remains available until the paid period ends. Tasks and settings are preserved after the Agent stops, so you can continue if you subscribe again.
How can I get support?
Use the support bubble in the lower-right corner or open Support under My Account. The AI support assistant replies first and can offer a transfer to the team if needed. A team member then replies in the same conversation. Support chat does not consume usage. You can also email hi@secretary.sh.
